BIRD FLU VACCINE UPDATES
REALLY, REALLY SCARY "SCIENCE"!!
One of the latest reports on Dr. Sherri
Tenpenny’s Bird Flu Hype Web Site
www.birdfluhype.com
May 17, 2006: CTV.ca | Officials mull using poultry
vaccine on people The World Health Organization and others
are studying whether it would be possible to tap into the
global agricultural vaccine production capacity to help bridge
the enormous gap between the amount of human flu vaccine the
world can produce and how much would be needed in a severe
pandemic. While the idea of giving people vaccine produced for
poultry may seem, well, for the birds, the proposal - advanced
by eager agricultural vaccine-makers - hasn't been
dismissed out of hand.
COMMENT by Dr. Tenpenny: These folks are truly
"mad" scientists, but every definition of the word!
What will they think of next? SCAREY!
A Very Disturbing Vaccine
Report
An Associated Press article dated December 15, 2005, by AP Medical
Writer Emma Ross, quoted scientists at Sanofi-Pasteur, the French
pharmaceutical company, as saying that preliminary tests on a prototype
of a pandemic flu vaccine show promise. What does that mean? We must
read the entire article to discover the disturbing details.
Further explanation
reveals that the researchers added another ingredient to the
developmental vaccine, which "seemed to boost the potency of lower
doses. That would mean that supplies of the key element of the vaccine
- known as the antigen - could be stretched further, allowing more
people to obtain the shots in an emergency." The article goes on to
repeat the "when, not if" mantra of "preparation for a possible
flu pandemic, which experts agree is only a matter of time."
The Disturbing
Details
Further down, the article reports that "seasonal
flu vaccines, which combine the three most dominant strains, use about
15 micrograms of antigen per strain contained in the shot."
Now, read the
follow-up sentence carefully: "Researchers found that the H5N1 bird flu
strain - the one scientists believe is most likely to spawn a potential
pandemic - is so alien to the human body" (think about that
statement for a minute), "it takes two injections of vaccine using
90 micrograms of antigen apiece to get an adequate response from the
human immune system." (!!) [Bold and exclamation points
added.]
Question No. 1: Why is
this strain "most likely to spawn a potential pandemic" if it is "so
alien to the human body?"
Question No 2: There
is already controversy among health professionals about the benefits of
the current flu vaccines. They inject about 15 micrograms of antigen
(plus other doubtful ingredients) into our body. It seems that any
injection of foreign material should anger our immune system. But, it
requires two, 90-microgram injections" of this strain to produce "an
adequate response from the human immune system?!"
Somehow, that just
does not sound good. If any of our practitioners are willing to respond
to this, we will post their comments here.
Now, we find out one
of the additional ingredients that were tested: "In the latest study,
an ingredient called alum was added to the vaccine in an attempt to
reduce the amount of antigen needed in the shot." Do we want alum
injected straight into our systems? I’m not sure we do.
A Disturbing
Admission
Near the end of the article comes this
interesting statement: "Provoking an immune system response is not
proof the vaccine will protect against infection, but it is the first
step."
Dr. Sherri Tenpenny,
DO, the medical director of an integrated medicine clinic near
Cleveland, Ohio, has the following posted
on her www.birdfluhype.com
site:
ARTICLE: What are the
limits of adjuvanticity? Del Giudice G, Podda A, Rappuoli R.
"...Finally,
adjuvanticity is more often evaluated in terms of antigen-specific
antibody titers induced after parenteral immunization. It is known
that, in many instances, antigen-specific antibody titers do not
correlate with protection." Vaccine. 2001 Oct 15;20 Suppl 1:S38-41.
PMID: 11587808
Her comment: PROOF!
from a mainstream medical journal, that antibodies do NOT correlate
with protection. --ST
More Problems
"The other major problem - the need for two shots
spread over weeks - also needs to be addressed," the article adds.
Perhaps, in light of the above, it might best be ignored and forgotten.
AND: "In addition,
it's impossible to perfect a pandemic flu vaccine before the pandemic
starts because the vaccine must exactly match the strain, which is
unknown until it arrives." But, we’re supposed to be stockpiling
vaccines now?!
Oh, but: "However,
much of the scientific groundwork, such as perfecting the dose and the
amount of antigen needed, can be done using another flu strain." Huh?
Do you feel comforted?
The Point
We must dig for details and for comments by
knowledgeable, qualified individuals who question the mainstream
rhetoric. We’ll try to keep you posted to the best of our abilities.
